DESCRIPTION:Neighbors –\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThe fall meeting of our neighborhood civic association\, Holmes Run Valley Citizens Association\, is planned for 7 PM\, Wednesday\, 23 October in the cafeteria at Beech Tree Elementary School.  The agenda includes the status of ongoing developments in our community as well as new developments\, election of board\, and collection of annual dues.\n\nProvisional agenda:\nIntroduction of meeting participants\nTreasurer’s report and dues\nCrime report\nElection of Board of Directors\nResults of 6 August National Night Out Ice Cream Social\nOld Business:\n()  $200 signs for speeding\n()  County plans for leaf collection\n()  Dominion plan for upgrading the Westcott substation\n()  Dominion’s Strategic Underground Program for distribution lines\n() Status of White Gardens Park at 6711 Princess Anne Lane\nNew Business:\n()  Potential referendum for casino in Fairfax County\n()  Results of zoning ordinance changes permitting data centers\n()  County’s proposed zero waste management strategy\nAdditional agenda items from meeting participants\n\nCollection of Dues:\nThe association asks members to pay annual dues of $10 per household.  The funds pay association expenses for the following year\, including the cost of liability insurance for use of  meeting space in the Beech Tree cafeteria.\nIf you wish to pay 2025 dues at the 23 October meeting\, please bring cash or a check payable to Holmes Run Valley Citizens Association.\nIf you wish to pay online via Zelle\, please direct your payment to dueshrvca@gmail.com.\nIf you wish to pay online via Venmo\, direct your payment to dueshrvca@gmail.com.\nIf paying by mail\, send your check along with your residence address (and\, optionally\, your name and email address) to:\nHolmes Run Valley Citizens Association\nc/o Mike Paup\, Treasurer\n3350 Rose Lane\nFalls Church\, VA 22042\n\nPlease support our community by attending our fall meeting and bringing your suggestions for preserving and improving our quality of life.\n\nThank you.
